Sri Anantharamaiah Retires from the Management Committee

In the Annual General meeting held on 21st November, 2022, Sri K. N. Anantharamaiah, who nourised the Academy for nearly three decades, growing it to its current stature, announced his decision to relinquish his position in the Management Committee. While he will continue to provide guidance and advice as required, he requested other members to come forward and actively engage to carry on the mission of the Academy.

We have also informed our members regarding this in a recent letter.

Many leading artists, patrons and connoisseurs of art have sent us messages thanking Sri Anantharamaiah for his yeoman service to music, and extended their best wishes.

We have reproduced some of these messages below.
